About this wheel

Would you rather questions work because every answer is a trade-off and nobody is wrong. They are also an easy way to learn what people value, which is why teachers, youth leaders and hosts use them as icebreakers.

This wheel contains ten light, family-friendly questions. Replace them with your own as you go, and turn on Remove winner after each spin to avoid repeating one.

How to use it

  1. Spin the wheel and read the question aloud.
  2. Everyone chooses a side. Raise hands, stand on opposite sides of the room, or write answers down.
  3. Ask a few players why they chose as they did.
  4. Spin again for the next question.
  5. Keep score only if you want a game: one point for choosing the majority side, for example.

Tips

Keep questions suitable for the youngest person present. Skip anything that makes someone choose between people they know or that touches on sensitive topics.

The follow-up question, "why?", is where the fun is. Give each player a short turn so everyone can explain.
